Founder/Head Coach
I’m a lifelong learner who will relentlessly share my knowledge with those who are willing to learn. I’m so fortunate to be able to do what I love and help people continue to do what they love!
Mobility (End Range Strength & Flexibility) is what I specialize in. Taking my clients to their absolute limits and then showing them that they can overcome their limitations is the most satisfying thing in the world.
Hockey is the sport I enjoy playing and watching the most, however it isn’t the sport I competed in at the highest level. As a now retired Dragonboat Paddler who represented my University, City, Province, and Country🇨🇦, I pass on the importance of teamwork, hard work, dedication, honour, focus, and engagement to all who I work with.
I work with young athletes ages 6-18 and those who have taken their athletics to the college, university, pro levels (18+). In addition to the athletes, I work with clients of all ages (18-85+) and fitness levels who want to move better and live with less pain. As long as you’re committed to your goals, I’ll do what I can to help or guide you towards someone who’s able to help you!

Hi, I’m Yunyi! I’m passionate about helping you take charge of your health and fitness. My journey into fitness began during a tough time when I was dealing with depression and stress eating. With the support of some incredible people, I discovered the power of movement, which transformed both my body and mind. Now, I’m here to help you experience that transformation too.
As a certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor, I specialize in blending strength training with dynamic yoga to create a balanced fitness experience. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced athlete, I’ll design a program that’s tailored to your goals. My focus is on functional movements that build strength, improve mobility, and boost your energy and confidence.

I’m a strength and conditioning coach with over a decade of professional experience. My training philosophy is heavily influenced by sports science and biomechanics, applying evidence-based methods to deliver efficient, results-driven programs that are objectively measurable.
Whether your goal is to build muscle, lose fat, or improve overall strength and performance, I’ll be able to use my personal training experiences and also point to the supporting literature to give you peace of mind that you'll be able to achieve what you set your mind to (so long as you show up and put in the work)!

Tired of tight hips and poor mobility ruining his hobbies, one day Tech Guy Tom decided to start working with Coach JKoo. After seeing the positive impact of effective training and healthy mobility, Tech Guy Tom decided to become Coach Tom. I’m passionate about helping others move better, feel stronger, and live healthier.
It's rare to find a physical activity that I would refuse to at least try. I love all sports and activities but at the moment, I’m leaning a bit more into golf, volleyball, badminton, and dance.
As for training, I enjoy strength training, speed and explosive movements, and functional mobility (hips and shoulders especially as a tech guy). Having experienced firsthand the issues that come with a sedentary lifestyle, I hope to inspire others like myself to get up from their desks and get active.
